In Nakuru, licensed massage spas, parlors have gone to lengths enforcing strict rules to protect the integrity of their business and the safety of their staff. Blissful Whispers Wellness Spa enforced a rule requiring their clients to be accompanied by a female, regardless of whether she is his wife or girlfriend. The rationale is that male clients would behave when in accompanied by a female. If a male client visits the spa without a female companion, he will be referrred to another spa.
